New Update Oh My!

It seems to have miraculously fixed itself.. hmmmm.. okay.. thanks. To be honest it was nicer before when the header was a little wider top to bottom and shrunk when you scrolled down the page. The mobile area now has the tagline all bunched up under it when viewing on a tablet and I assume that is so that when you click on the menu you see the logo all bunched up with menu items under it. This does need some final touches and more testing. I also noticed that changes to the colors one you go back to that setting in customize even though your color is listed as a choice for lets say logo title color, when you see the preview the text reverts to default color. Something is up there..

Confirmation on the Title you cannot change the color. It shows it as white no matter what you pick and publish.

Perhaps that was due to a cache issue on your end. Please flush it and try again.

You are most welcome to login to the site as ADMIN.. look around, see what you see.. That might make it easier or not.. it is an option.

Thanks for looking into this.. I have tried countless times to change the color and its either all the text in the header logo but not just the title any more..

@saxamo As inspected, seems likely the color won’t update on Chrome and Safari browsers. I can confirm that’s a bug, that our development team are working to fix it.

Thanks.. Maybe you would like to know then that unchecking the search box and anything but BUTTON in the preview doesn’t do anything either.. Not meant to be negative.. I would love to make this work perfectly as I can.. I mean honestly it benefits me and you together..

Again.. If you would like to log in and play around with a actual real world configuration you are most welcome.. Just if you change anything let me know what it was so that if something comes up with the host provider telling me there are problems I can refer to any changes made.. Thanks

PS.. I use FIREFOX.. first time I can say the site looks better in EDGE then FF overall.. but the problem is FF.. If you have not tried FF lately.. you might want too.. It’s really good..

Hi @saxamo, can we please have a screenshot of the options/preview that you mention regarding the search box etc.?

I just happen to wake up.. lol.. okay.. so something changed. Before there was a huge search box messing up the header, now there is a magnifying glass, which seems to have its place. However, the information area regarding email and phone number, the email address and maybe the phone number needs a space in the beginning to get it away from the phone and email icons.. it is too close right now.

As you can see in the preview area clicking the cart and account icons does not put anything in the header. if you want me to add them all and leave them on for you to test, let me know.

I also just noticed that on the tablet and if I just change the size of the browser down to phone or tablet width the header text turns orange.

The header text turns orange I’m guessing because you set a different color for your mobile header.

The cart & account icons are for Woocommerce, if you don’t have it then they won’t show. We should probably remove them from the options for people who don’t have Woocommerce active.

I guess you were seeing cache on your site, that’s why the big search box.

The color I chose is the same green on the site.. as per the posts above the other gentleman states its a bug and is being fixed. Its just odd that I picked green for the title and the header text and title seems to be messing with each other.. However, neither mobile or desktop color is picked as orange or whatever color that is..

Good idea on the cart and woocommerce options. If not installed, well don’t show.. not sure how you do that for every single cart that is out there. maybe just a message saying items won’t show if commerce plugins are not detected..

I have another post going for the twitter card problem on the site. Is there any chance anything in this theme would cause the twitter card not to show?

Just a thought there should be the option for the mobile title text alone. not all the text to be one color.

Check please in Customize > Header > Mobile Header > Style panel. It should be orange there. Take a screenshot for me please.

As you can see the style is my green color, the header shows white and when you see it on the tablet or phone or even resize the browser down to mobile size it is orange..

I’m not able to replicate that. Can you make your site accessible for a bit so I can have a look?

In this instance it was a caching thing.. I use cloudflare so I forgot on this one instance to clear the cache.. I just checked the website and it is now green, but all green as stated earlier, not just the title but even the tag line..

In regards to opening up the site.. How do you suggest I get that information to you? I don’t want to post my email address or login information here..
