reCaptcha v3 conflicting with plugin

  • reCaptcha v3 appears to be stopping messages being sent from my contact form 7 plugin (v5.4.2). When I remove the reCaptcha v3 integration, the form sends just fine. I have recreated a new v3 site key but this still doesn’t work.

    Is it a known issue?

    My contact form 7 was not sending and I removed the reCaptcha v3 integration and now the form email is sending. Can you please fix this issue. I have contact form 7 and reCaptcha v3 integration on a lot of websites. This is a big issue.

    We are having the same problem. I removed the reCaptcha V3 integration and the form started working again. Will work for short term but would like to be able to add integration back to avoid SPAM. Thanks!

    reCAPTCHA v3 itself seems to be working correctly. What problems do you see?

    It looks like there is a problem with validation of the recaptcha keys.

    The messages just won’t send with reCaptcha v3 integration activated.

    If you go to the menu on the right, navigate to the contact page, it is the form on that page.

    Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Really Simple SSL, Wordfence Security, and Yoast SEO.

    Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    ok, so I disabled those plugins and it didn’t help, the problem still exists. I have also updated to the recent Contact Form 7 version today.

    I have had to remove the reCaptcha integration for now as no messages are getting through.

    When is this going to be fixed by Contact Form 7? I see others reporting this issue and you are asking them to list all their plugin and change to a default theme – why? If you take the ReCaptcha integration off the forms send. If you add it back, they do not. This seems to point to an issue of Contact Form 7 working with reCaptcha – can you please fix this!
