When using the cart edit addon, this works except for one field. So when I click on “edit article” (“Artikel bearbeiten” in german) on the cart page, it takes me to the product page with all fields prefilled except for one field called “sternbild_mittel_tierkreis”.

The only difference between this and the other fields is that it is a conditional field, so it depends on the field selected before (as in it is only displayed if a specific value is selected in the other field).

Does the edit function not work correctly with conditional fields? Is there a way to fix this?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Conditionally hidden fields are not yet configured for cart edit addon. we will update this soon.

@jdembowski there was actually additional information in that post as I found out that the issue actually wasn’t within cart edit but within PPOM itself. And as the issue wasn’t cart edit specific I thought is was correct to create a new post, sorry.

@nmedia This issue actually appears without cart edit as well. When trying to add something to the cart with one mandatory field missing, the page reloads with an error message. But the conditional field is then empty, so the user input isn’t preserved.
You can replicate this behaviour on this page:
    https://deinstern24.de/produkt/sterntaufe-basic/

If you skip the first selection (“Zertifikat Auswahl”) and fill out the rest, you will see what I mean.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Any news on this issue?
I really like your plugins, but the time it takes to get an answer for this question makes me think I should try something else… i would really like to get this working.
