How to translates the cookies categories without wpml

Please follow the below steps for the translation:
– Navigate to WordPress Dashboard –> Loco Translate –>Plugins.
– Then select GDPR Cookie consent from plugins list.
– From languages select preferred language, you will be taken to the page where you can add translation for strings.
– Once edited click on save.

Let me know if I have missed something.

I have investigated within the plugin and found to be two language PO files for the German language, could you please delete one of the duplicate PO files from the plugin.

Please follow the below instructions for removing the duplication PO file:
– Please keep the file with the file size of 42kb and delete the other one.
– To check the file size Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Loco Translate > Plugins > GDPR Cookie Consent.
– Then select language and click on file info from header options.
– Delete the duplicate PO file.

Thanks for your reply.

Please change the path of translation file that comes with the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin so that it has priority over auto generated language files.

To change the path navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Loco Translate → Plugins → GDPR Cookie Consent ,select the language and click on Relocate from the header tabs.
Then you can select the new location as Custom?, from the available options.
