Views stop updating after filters enabled

Hi, I’ve got a question I haven’t been able to answer on my own. I’m working on a site that uses Paid Memberships Pro and Formidable Forms Business. I’ve created several Views, and they work fine until I try to filter the entries by, for example, a User ID field. As soon as I turn on any kind of filter based on any field, the views no longer update as soon as new entries are added. It can take several minutes for new entries to show in the views. The site is hosted on WordPress.com.
Are you aware of any caching issues with filtered views or is there specific documentation on how the views are updated when filters are enabled that you can point me to?
