    Hello

I’m gonna use your plugin with the e-commerce store that weights 10GB. I want to make sure if this plugin deletes or overwrites any of files or changes anything in the database?

I case of crash everything will be working as previously ?

I understand that the .htaccess file will be filled with additional lines, but any other changes?

    B?d? wdzi?czny za szybk? odpowied? ??

    Hello @zbigniewo,

    Thanks for your message.

The plugin generates WebP files in a separate directory and adds entries to .htaccess files. It also adds new records in the database. It does not affect the original image files in any way.

After uninstallation, the plugin removes rules from .htaccess files, all added database records and WebP files. So in short – cleans everything after itself.

    Best,
    Mateusz

Thank you for your response. Can you let me know what exactly is being changed in the database?

Im using the wordpress + AliDropship plugin, the process has just started. Hopefully, it will not crash the store.

The plugin is not working when Cloudflare is enabled – giving Rest API errors. Turning Cloudflare off make it start.

    Please keep fingers crossed.

@zbigniewo A few records are added in the wp_options table containing, among others plug-in settings.

Fingers crossed. Remember that you shouldn’t install any plugins directly on production. This should be tested in a test environment beforehand, and only then implemented in production. No matter what plugin it is.

Hello, we’ve done backups. We’ve set it to 95% compression which is probably too high. We are afraid that the images will be of low quality. After the process is finished, can we switch to 85% and start over?

@zbigniewo Of course. Then you need to check the option of force converting all images. However, I propose to set the quality to 85% – it is the most optimal.
