Can’t Reauthorize Grow (Getting error)

  • Hello, today was expire my “Facebook Share Counts Provider”

    and asking “Authorization Expired – Please reauthorize.” than we click “Reauthorize Grow” button we get error like:

    Application not set: This application is still under development and you do not have access to it. Log in as a registered tester or ask the program administrator for permission.

    error language is Lithuanian, but i translate it above

    It a first time happening like this, previuose time was all good.

    Thanks so much for getting back to us! We’re currently aware of an issue with reauthorizing for Facebook (as well as issues pulling Facebook shares). Our engineers are working with Facebook to get things resolved and once they do we’ll be sure to post here to let everyone know.

    Hey. How long do we need to wait for it? dont want to use other plugin, we alwas use this ??

    We try create and add our Facebook Graph API, we add app id and app secret and share still dont counting…

    Sorry for the delay on this one (I was out for a couple of days), but it looks like we’re still waiting for a response from Facebook on this one. Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA on this as it’s something we need to work directly with Facebook on. Hopefully they’ll be able to get back to us soon and once they do we’ll reach out and let you know.

    As far as using the Facebook Graph API goes, I gave it a test on my end and it looks like it’s working with the App ID and App Secret I’m using on my side. If that isn’t working, I would double check that the App ID and App Secret you’re using is correct.

    Hey @itiketinifaktai,

    Just reaching back out to let you know that it looks like Facebook has corrected things on their end and you should be able to reauthorize using the Grow by Mediavine app once more.

    Feel free to give that a shot and let us know if you run into any issues!
