I think this plugin causes a significant Woocommerce problem with shipping calculator.

On the cart page, if you have the plugin DISABLED, you can add ONLY postcode to the shipping calculator and it will work. If you ENABLE the plugin you HAVE to add Postcode, City AND State/Province otherwise it doesn’t work.

This is a problem because you might want to hide the city and state fields because thet are unnecessary.

This continues onto the checkout page. Because we don’t need a state/province field, we removed it using the plugin. This prevents the shipping calculator from working properly. It will only start working if you either disable the plugin, or ensure that all the fields are visible and can be filled in.

  • Hi @delanthear

This should not be happening and might be because some incompatibility or error on your website

Please confirm you have the latest version of the plugin and that your overall website is up to date (plugins, theme, WP core)

Also, debug as following if you haven’t done yet:

    • Deactivate plugins one by one checking each time.
    • Switch to Storefront theme and test
    • Disable any custom scripts you might have

I have just deactivated all plugins apart from Woocommerce and this plugin and moved to the Storefront theme. Everything is up to date. As soon as I deactivate this plugin, the functionality starts working :/

I have installed this plugin on a fresh install (but an MU install) and it works fine. (storefront and no other plugins) It just seemingly just doesn’t work on the site I need it to.

As soon as I enable the plugin, you HAVE to submit all fields for the shipping calculator to work. If any are missing, it doesn’t work.

    I’m honestly baffled!

Any ideas on how to debug?!

Might need to clear cache of browser.

In addition check server configuration for the website that presents the issue

I couldn’t work it out at all so I changed to a different plugin which did the same sort of thing and it’s fine. Something about this plugin doesn’t like our set up! I can’t work it out at all.
