Link to access a gallery? (Not link images from galleries to some URL)

    Hi, is there a way, when insert a gallery into a post, to show a link to that gallery instead of showing pics? And on click to go to a page with all the pics.

    To be more specific: For example – I make a new post, and beside text, i’m inserting a few pictures in it, choosing to be displayed as gallery. When you view the article, you see all those pics. Well.. I dont want to show the pics, but just a link to a an automatically created page page with all the pics.

    Let’s say a kind of a gallery-attachment-page, who practically does for a gallery, what the attachment-page does for a pic.

  • You’ll need to create a new page or post to store your Gallery.
    You’ll then need to insert the images in your original post, and just add the href link for each image to your Gallery page.

    Thank you. But this is not what I want. I don’t want to create a separate page for each new post.

    It must be a another way.. I don’t know too much coding buy I guess i have to make some template starting from attachment template, and then find a way to pass the photos ID-s from post to that template.

    Solved with a custom template and a permalink for accessing it.
