Request for RSS (if post with <!–more–>

  • Would be nice to have rss feed text before ‘more’ tag
    if my post is big (very) and I’m displaying on front page only couple of sentenes, rss feed gives all text. That’s not good.

  • You can have you feed in 2 flavor, the excrept only of full text. You can set it in the Option –> Reading in the Syndication Feed block.

    If you always write a significant excrept it solve your problems. COnsider that people reading blog using a feed reader software (as i do) maybe won’t like to have to open the full page on every post, but prefere to have the full post as they select the entry.

    In my blog i use to offer full feed even this done’st let me know how many people red my sybdication files in my statistics

    I have my blog options to display full text in rss feeds but there are times I’d like to use a “more” tag to display just few lines in readers like in the main page of my blog.

    Can I do this without changing my other feeds style? (full text)
    Maybe placing just a tag or modifying some code?
