  • This is of zero help (and I hate it when people say it to me)… but I just installed it on my blog, and it is working fine in Chrome (Mac OS).

I can confirm that it doesn’t work on my Chrome (Mac) 5.0.375.127. It does work on Safari (Mac). I’m going to try it on my work PC tomorrow in IE (Windows) and Chrome (Windows).

It works for me in Chrome and Safari on Windows XP, but I can’t get it to play using Firefox. I have it working on another site in Firefox, but on the site I’m working on now. I can’t get it to play. It also works for me using Safari on a Mac. Any ideas why it would work on one site, but not another site using the same browser?

I have these other plugins installed, could there be a conflict?

    – Simple Video Embedder
    – YouTube mp3

Figured it out, at least for me. It also wasn’t working on my Chrome (Windows) browser here at work.

I have Kill-Flash installed as a browser extension. I had to white-list my own site for it to show up.

Funny how the author says “deactivate that lame Flash player” on the site for the plug-in but it turns out it’s just another Flash player.

I don’t have Kill-Flash install on my computer. I checked it using Firefox on a Mac and it doesn’t work on that either. But, I have it working on other sites using the same hosting. Why would it be specific to this one site I have?

too be clear – the author wasnt lying. i’ve looked at the code, and it is indeed attempting to use HTML5 audio… BUT, if it fails, it falls back to Sound Manager 2, which has a flash engine…

@ Cybacolt does it mean we’re not getting any update from Tood sooner.
