Home page doesn’t show + issue with blog pictures

    I need help with my website. I changed to this theme, however, it doesn’t show my home page as a home page even though I have selected it as such from the customize tap (the page exists).

    I have another issue with the blog sections, specifically images. My previous theme did not have any images linked to each post, however, this theme does present an image with a post. Because I didn’t have any images in my previous theme, now it shows a plain green image. I would like to add an image for each post, or alternatively, not have an image show at all (though I doubt that is possible with this theme).

    In this theme, the homepage sections are configured from the customizer via Appearance > Customize > Front Page Settings.

    If you want to show the content that you have added on the homepage, you have to disable all the homepage sections from the customizer via Appearance > Customize > Front Page Settings.

    To get rid of the fallback image, you need to set the featured image for your posts. Please do that.
