    … and what concept are you trying to explain?

    Concept is probably the wrong term. I think the “procedure would be a better term

    write the post> link>upload an image>display the image

    It’s the last stage the I have the problem.

    tnx for your help

    I think I’m getting closer. I have both wp 1.2 and 1.5 runnin on my server with different different directories and different databases.

    In 1.2 I can upload, copy and paste this

    <img src=”https://digitalcollege.org/wordpress/wp-content/plc.jpg&#8221; alt=”” /> and it works

    In 1.5 I do the same thing

    but I get a different result and it does not work

    <img src=’;/wp-content/Plc.jpg’ alt=” />

    Download a new copy of wp, and replace only “upload.php”

    Ah, looks like you got one of those fun pre-official release (before Thursday the 17th) builds. Download WP v1.5 again and replace your copy of /wp-admin/upload.php with the new copy from the fresh download.

    Followed your instructions.

    Downloaded wp 1.5.>unzipped>uploaded upload.php to >/wp-admin

    uploaded new jpg>copied url>pasted into post

    <img src=’/wp-content/change.jpg’ alt=” />

    nothing ??

    Sorry about being a pest but I’m sure there is a solution for the image problem

    did you figure it out?
