You may find the WooCommerce Two Factor Authentication plugin helpful.

The plugin gives your customers access to their account after they have entered their OTP in addition to their regular password. Webmasters have the option to customize templates and messages.

Thanks @nixiack8 I did see that post and many of those plugins are either dead or unsuitable, but appreciate your efforts.

I’m really just looking for an SMS based solution to prevent account sharing, i’m not running a bank, just protecting content.

Ideally, user logs in and is then asked to confirm login via SMS.

But it seems this does not exist. The hunt continues!

May be instead of verification through SMS you can give verification through email a try, as wider range of options is available for this type.

I’m still looking for a suitable solution. I’m surprised there is not a native solution, however, I will continue looking at 3rd parties.

Sorry to see this still isn’t resolved for you, we’ve made a couple suggestions but I know they don’t match the exact use case you’re looking for.

As a final suggestion, you could try something like

This will allow you to register/login with mobile numbers and includes the functionality for two-factor authentication / SMS codes to be sent. Again this likely doesn’t match the exact look/use case you’re going for and may require customization to get it just the way you’d like.
