I’m getting lots of emails from my WordPress installation:
    Subject: Stripe Payments Error Details
    Content:

Note: It is normal for transaction errors like this to happen. For example - if a customer enters an incorrect card number or an expired card details, it will trigger an error.
The customer will be requested to enter valid details for the transaction to proceed.
This email contains some raw transaction data just for the site admin to be aware of the incident.

Following error occurred during payment processing:

Stripe API error occurred: Your card was declined.

    Debug data:
    {"product_id":"9114","action":"asp_pp_confirm_pi","pi_id":"pi_XXXREDACTEDXXX","token":"XXXREDACTEDXXX","opts":"{\\\"receipt_email\\\":\\\"XXXEMAIL+ADDRESS+REDACTEDXXX\\\",\\\"payment_method_data\\\":{\\\"type\\\":\\\"card\\\",\\\"card\\\":{\\\"token\\\":\\\"tok_XXXREDACTEDXXX\\\"},\\\"billing_details\\\":{\\\"name\\\":\\\"Hex Trickster\\\",\\\"email\\\":\\\"XXXEMAIL+ADDRESS+REDACTEDXXX\\\"}}}"}

Hi, are you saying that the plugins API was hacked in your site?

    Regards.

    Hi

I’ve been experiencing the same on and off for a week.

And it just got real bad, I literally got spammed with almost 800 such emails within 10mins.

I had no choice but to delete the app because deactivating it didn’t help.

It has now finally stopped spamming but I’m still getting perhaps 3 per minute.

What should I do please? I’m very worried.

Here’s a sample below. It’s all the same except for the pi_id and token values.

    Thanks

You must enable the following captcha feature.
    https://s-plugins.com/stripe-payments-recaptcha-addon/

After you enable the captcha feature, it should resolve that issue.

Thank you. I’ve now enabled that. I’ll see what happens.
