pmpro restriction message showing in excerpt

I recommend in setting an explicit excerpt as WordPress excerpts automatically take the first couple of sentences (or shortcode).

A local WordPress developer may be able to help automate this better for you, by filtering ‘the_excerpt’ and strip the shortcodes, you may be able to try this code snippet – add_filter( 'get_the_excerpt', 'strip_shortcodes', 20 );

I’m not aware of any limitations from our end, but filtering on get_the_excerpt or the_excerpt may be a good starting point. I’ve reached out to one of our developers to investigate this further but I cannot guarantee this will be resolved from our end.

A no code solution would be to explicitly set your excerpts when creating or updating posts.

Please let me know when your developer will solve this issue
