Is My Account to be used for different User Roles?

    Hi,

    I will be offering the option for users to manage their accounts.

    I will be adding a My Account menu item for logged in users.

    Is My Account to be used for different User Roles account management?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    When a User is logged in I will like to add a menu item “My Account” so that the user can edit her account.

    If I have different User Roles will the “My Account” menu item be ok for any type of User Role logged in trying to edit her account?

    Hi @champsupertramp,

    Thank you for asking.

    The My Account (Mi Cuenta) button is a menu item in the Main Menu (see image below).

    After testing options I learned that “any” User Role can access My Account and edit hers according to the Role settings.

    Do you want the My Account page available for the currently logged-in user? Have you tried using the UM Menu settings to make the menu visible to specific user roles in the WP Admin > Appearance > Menu?
