Custom Product page using woolentor/elementor

Building a shop and I want to set it up so that the main shop page shows categories only. Then clicking on the categories will take to that specific product category page.

I created a template for the shop page and using woolentor changed the setting to use that template as the product shop page template. But when I click each category, it now just loops back to the same page template.

Is there a way to set it so that the main shop page stays using the template, but clicking on each category goes to that product category page?
