Hi, yesterday I put a Rambler counter script in my websites’ HEAD section through WP Insert plugin. And today I got a notification from Wordfence, that this URL: https://counter.rambler.ru/top100.cnt is dangerous. This notification is shown for every page on my website (in index.html file).

So my question is: how to exclude the script or URL from Wordfence check? Because I can mark these notifications as fixed / ignored now, but in future these notifications will appear for every new article. And that’s just a headache.

    Thanks in advance for help!

    Hi @giorgos93

In the scan result can you press the DETAILS button and provide a screenshot of the full scan result via an image file sharing service please.

Sure. Here is an example of this “suspicious” URL: https://ibb.co/1LWdW40 . For some reason it’s in Wordfences’ domain blocklist.

I started to use this counter for traffic measurement by adding a script. Rambler is a popular Russian website for such purposes.

So I would like to whitelist is, because this counter is working on every page, and I don’t want to get alert notifications every time it’s detected. So how can I exclude / whitelist it?

Will somebody just tell me, how to exclude / whitelist this script? Is it a hard task to do?

    Hi @giorgos93

We have downgraded the domain name counter.rambler[.]ru as suspicious for further review. You should have no scan results for it now.
