Flat Rate Shipping Fees Missing from Feed

    Hi Eva,

    We are seeing that every single product we sell says Free Shipping in Google Shopping, but 400-500 of these products do not come with free shipping and instead have multiple flat rate options set up in Woocommerce that works perfectly in our shopping cart. Those products always have a fee of $9.95-$59.95 but that isn’t showing in our feed. We followed the tutorial to set up the Field mapping for shipping.

    Additionally, our feed has said “stopped” for 4 days in a row even though it’s set to refresh hourly. Manually refreshing it doesn’t do anything…it just says processing (0%).

    Can’t get you a screenshot of the feed settings because it’s been stuck on “processing (25%)” since yesterday when I posted this post.

    We’ve tried disabling all plugins and running the Healthcheck plugin to get the feed to update and even with no other plugins running, the feed still says “processing (25%)” after 5 days of running and 20+ manual refreshes.

    Now I’ve tried setting the feed to inactive to try to fix this and it won’t switch back to active after 10 refreshes of the plugin feed screen. It’s frozen as inactive.

    Ok I was able to force the feed into active mode by manually appending the plugin URL to “&force-active=true”.

    I then forced the batch size down to 500 and refreshed it 10 times and now it shows 33%…

    Hi,

    With regards to your original flat rate shipping question: the reason the flat rates are not making it to your feed is because the plugin will look for the country shipping details for the country you used for configuring your feed. So lets say you configured a feed for the United States then the plugin will look for shipping zone region “United States”. You have filled in states there and as such our plugin cannot match it. The solution to this, probably, is to enable the “Add shipping costs for all countries to feed (Google Shopping / Facebook only)” feature in the general plugin settings.

    With regards to your feed not processing/getting stuck. Did you check out your WP-cron? See: https://adtribes.io/help-my-feed-processing-is-stuck/

    Hi;

    This was already enabled when the plugin was first installed back in August:

    enable the “Add shipping costs for all countries to feed (Google Shopping / Facebook only)” feature in the general plugin settings.

    The plugin has been stuck at 33% since yesterday so I forced stopped it and it’s still not working.

    Looks like the plugin is generating fatal errors all the time now, starting 5 days ago when it stopped updating.

    Can you increase the maximum allowed CPU usage?

    I managed to get the plugin to function by lowering the number of items per batch to 100, but now all of the shipping fees are creating tons of errors in Google Shopping.

    I am unable to get Chrome to open the feed anymore to verify it, the file it’s creating is way too massive for the browser to load it. It used to load fine before we tried to get the shipping method issue resolved.

    Additionally, Google shopping states that the plugin is only sending them 287 products now, instead of 1500+ products.

    Yes, the XML file is getting so big as you have so many shipping zones configured, you configured one for (it seems) every state in the US. When your feed becomes to big like this you can also opt to use the shipping label construction and configure the shipping costs in your merchant center directly.

    When you have less products in your feed then expected than changes are big this is due to a feed configuration issue. We have listed the most common reasons here:https://adtribes.io/help-i-have-none-or-less-products-in-my-product-feed-than-expected/

    Can you go through the reasons mentioned and see which one is causing the issue at hand for you?

    I had to add each state individually because people in Hawaii and Alaska kept ordering things and the shipping rates don’t apply to those 2 states. Is there some other way around that issue?

    Unfortunately not. There are only two options, you either add all shipping costs to your feed or directly in your Google Merchant Center.

    We can’t add them in merchant center because every product has a different rate depending on where it goes and the shipping class. I tried and can’t see how to tell Google which products in the feed have which rates.
