    Hello,

I have created a new Facebook personal profile and a new Facebook page and want to integrate the woo-commerce plugin with my FB account. every time I try I encounter the error:
    “Admin permission required
You don’t have permission to edit these settings. Reach out to the admin of ‘…’ to gain access.”
please don’t keep telling me to check permissions in the business suit because I already did and I am the admin with full control of the assets.

to give more details, Last month I integrate my woocommerce website with a Facebook page without any complexity but some features were not available on that page so I had to delete it, deactivated woocommerce integration, and created a new personal account as well as a business page, and verified my identity for ads.
Although I am the admin of the new page with full manage permission to all assets in business suits, every time I try to integrate woocommerce to my new account I encounter the error “Admin permission required! You don’t have permission to edit these settings. Reach out to the admin of ‘…’ to gain access.”
Apparently, it just gives access to my previous account and denies access to the new account. It has already wasted a huge amount of my time and is really driving me crazy.
please please please give me a solution.

    Hello @sabaakhavan

    Thanks for your message!

If you’re absolutely sure you have the correct permissions on the account you’re using to connect, we can see if resetting your business ID helps. To do so, please:

    1. Deactivate the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin and delete it.
    2. Go to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php (please change yoursite.com to your site’s URL)
    3. Search for wc_facebook_external_business_id, update the field to include only ASCII characters and save. Best practice: use your store name plus a 13-digit random string, e.g., store-name-dfsdc3lck9k6q
    4. In Facebook, go to Settings > Privacy > Settings : Business Integrations. Click on the checkbox next to “WooCommerce Integration” and click on the blue “Remove” button
    5. Re-install the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, and go through the setup process again

Let us know if that works

Hello, Thank you for your response.
Surprisingly, there is no wc_facebook_external_business_id in my options.php file!
More importantly, there is no code associated with “Facebook” at all!

    Hi there,

Did you open the option.php file through FTP? If this is the case, it appears as though you misunderstood the steps. You need to navigate to the URL yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php. This will open a page in your dashboard where you can find the ‘wc_facebook_external_business_id’ with an input field.

    Hello,

I navigated to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php and changed the value of wc_facebook_external_business_id several times but it just shows the previous value after clicking save changes.

    Hey @sabaakhavan,

If you aren’t able to save the changes to that field on the /wp-admin/options.php page, you may want to try changing it in the database directly instead. I’d recommend following the instructions in the post linked below to make that change:
