    Hello,

After searching the forum, I found a few topics that talk about this problem, but none of them allowed me to solve it.

I would like to add a shortcode in a button on wordpress. The problem is that the button is logically looking for a link and not a shortcode.

    My shortcode: [mwb_upsell_yes]
My wordpress button : [button text=”Click me!”]

Thanks in advance for your help ??

When you say “your” shortcode, is this one you’ve written? It looks like it’s from a commercial plugin. You’re using a commercial/premium plugin, so please use their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

Hello and thank you for your quick response.

It is indeed a commercial plugin. The customer service advises me to display the shortcode in a text block but it does not suit me. I would like to associate it with a button and I thought the forum could have helped me. Thanks anyway and sorry for the inconvenience.

You could try putting that shortcode as the text for the button, but it probably won’t work.

It might be better to target some CSS at the link. Set a background color and a border radius and you can make it very button-like. Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

    Indeed it does not work.

You can find an example on the page: [ link moved to link field ]

“Click here” is the shortcode that works correctly and the “example button” is how I would like it to look.

Unfortunately, the shortcode doesn’t output anything that lets it be targeted by CSS. If you can add a class to it, then it would work. You may need to ask the developers about that.

This is a special shortcode that works only after placing an order on the e-commerce site. That’s probably why.

I just put the formatting you sent me, everything works perfectly. Thanks a lot for your help ??
