    Dear support woocommerce,

Please, I updated some urls and now the google serphs is not updated so is reflecting a 404 error.
How I should update the url for serphs? Yesterday I send the entire sitemap but I don’t know if google update this automatically or i have to do something manual and how.

    thank you so much

    Joaquín

  • Hi @joaquin2019

Your URL changes should take some time to show up in Google SERP. Per their indexation protocol it may take one or more weeks for the pages to be crawled by the spiders.

It is great that you’ve already resubmitted the sitemap. In order to speed up the process, are you using Webmaster Tools? This is a free tool and after verification, the updated site usually appears in Google pretty soon. You can find more about it here.

    I hope this helps!

    thanks so much,
    Yes I have webmaster tool.
My query is I can wait 1 week but meanwhile my serph will be showing an 404 error due URL is not updated. I have lot pages.
My query is: is recomended to wait or do an inspection urls an send 1 by one? But if I send 1 by 1. I should remove the old existing one URL (by deleting URL) or is not needed?

    thank you,

    Mirko P.

    Hey @joaquin2019,

It is best that you address your questions directly to Google support or Google Help Community forums, as we’re not experts with how these third-party tools work, particularly Google SERP.
