Hi, I actually thought I was having issues on the backend with Gutenberg, but I just chatted with a WordPress support specialist who confirmed that Automator WP was causing many backend errors. I’m not sure what they are, but I know that I’ve only been able to edit pages in Gutenberg with AutomatorWP deactivated and was hoping you all would be able to resolve this issue quickly.

    Hi @scifigirl128

I would be more than happy to assist you today

Seems strange that your WordPress specialist reports that those errors come from AutomatorWP since AutomatorWP does not makes use of the Gutenberg editor or even does not loads any script of this screen

Anyway, would be useful if your WordPress specialist can send you the error logs who determine that the cause comes from AutomatorWP to let us check them and fix this

Anyway, I just make a test myself in a fresh new install with the latest version of WordPress and AutomatorWP and I’m able to work with the Gutenberg editor without problems so probably your issue comes from another plugin

    Hi @rubengc

I’m aware that AutomatorWP doesn’t use Gutenberg; we went through and deactivated all plugins and reactivated, and AutomatorWP was the only one that when reactivated seemed to correlate with the issues I was dealing with Gutenberg. In any case, I am no longer experiencing the issue. Not entirely sure what the issue actually was though.

Thanks for the assistance in any case!

    Hi @scifigirl128

I’m glad that everything working back again!

Next time, if you face those issues again, please, contact your hosting provider and ask them for a copy of your error logs, in this way our team or event your hosting provider can let you know exactly from which plugin the issue comes (and even the line of the code who is causing the issue).

Anyway, thank for let us know that the issue got “misteriously” resolved.

    Best regards
