    When I try to install the Live Edit plugin I get an error message of ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’

    is this the plugin? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/live-edit/ looks like it has been closed.

    -you can remove this plugin’s folder via sFTP (like filezilla) or webhosting tools (like cpanel in file manager).
    -who is your webhosting service?

    It is Bluehost.

    I believe the plug in is different.

    Plugin name: Live Edit
    Source: WordPress Repository
    Type: Recommended
    Status: Not Installed

    this is the error message I get: object(WP_Error)#3230 (3) { [“errors”]=> array(1) { [“plugins_api_failed”]=> array(1) { [0]=> string(17) “Plugin not found.” } } [“error_data”]=> array(0) { } [“additional_data”:protected]=> array(0) { } }
    Something went wrong with the plugin API.

    please provide URL for the “recommended” plugin in the WordPress repository you are trying to install – if the URL (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/live-edit/ ) that I shared is not the correct one.
