Please Update woocommerce/action-scheduler dependency

    Hi Edward,

    to resolve your issue, please install the latest version of Action Scheduler plugin on your site. The latest version of Action Scheduler will be used on your site instead of our bundled version (that’s how Action Scheduler library loader works -> it prioritizes the latest version it can find installed or bundled in your site).

    Our plugin (WP Mail SMTP) currently supports older WordPress versions (4.9+), while the Action Scheduler library’s newer versions only support WP 5.2+. This prevents us from updating to the latest version of the AS library.

    We do have plans to update our supported WP version in the near future.

    I was not aware of the existence and the possibility of installing the Action Scheduler separately. Thanks!
