Usually, the translation is done by WordPress. So check that you that the translations are installed and updated.
Some themes come with their own string and in this case, the translation available in WordPress doesn’t help. For Avada, the translations are available there: https://github.com/Theme-Fusion/Localization-l10n/tree/master/Avada
Otherwise, you can then translate your theme and plugins with Poedit or a plugin like Loco Translate.
Strings translations are useful to translate options that you entered yoursef in the backend, not hadcoded string in the theme and plugins.
