Digital Signage Application

I’m looking at creating a Digital Signage solution for a School, which means that I have little to no money to come up with something.

My idea is to use wordpress as a backend for a full screen template that will automatically move between posts.

I am currently running my own site https://www.thejonson.com in which I have got a nice full screen theme going, but obviously this is only half the goal.

So my question: Is there either a) a method using javascript or the like to automatically get a page to move on to the next post, or b) a good fullscreen slideshow plugin that can look to post for the content.
