    Hi,

    I’m working on a social network website which has two main roles:

    • Barbers
    • Barber-shops
    • I have managed to create my registration system with UsersWP and it works great so far.

      The main issue with my current registration system is that I want

    • Barbers : to provide just their country (WORKS by using only UsersWP)
    • Barber Shops: to provide exact location of their shop (UsersWP allows only country – I want to use exact location)
    • <hr>

      That’s where I found GD plugin. Before breaking everything, my main questions for how to use GP are:

      Scenario 1: Enable Barber Shops to add exact location of their shop (ONLY 1 PER Barber shop).

      I’m confused if I should be using Listing or Place Form ?????
      I have managed to add an “Add listing Form” in the UsersWP > Account page, but i didn’t proceed with this, I wanted to ask if possible first. see screenshot below:

      I don’t mind where the data would be saved (GD or UsersWP) as long as one shop is associated with Only one account. Is this possible?.

      Scenario 2: Use GD for Events

      I want both types of users (Barbers, Barber Shops) to be able to create as many events as they like. I know there is a specific plugin to do that. However.

      My question for this is: Is it possible to provide all events created by a specific user in their own profile?

    Hi @sslv,

    Will there only be one barber per barber shop? If you would like to link multiple barbers to one shop then I think your best option would be to use just GD and its CPT addon, then link the two items.

    You can limit how many listings a user can have per CPT under Places > Settings > General (show advanced) > Limit Posts Per User.

    If you need further help please explain things a little more.

    Thanks for your reply. Please let me paraphrase what I have said in my initial ticket since is a little bit confusing.

    • I want to have two kinds of roles (Barber and Barber shops)
    • If an owner of a shop needs to be registered as a barber as well they would need to create a separate account.
    • There is no relation with barbers and barber shops
    • A barber should only share their Country
    • A barber shop should share exact location of their shop
    • Each barber shop must only create one location for their shop. Not more than one per account, also they shouldn’t be able to create locations for others.
    • ALL users should be able to create as many EVENTS as they like
    • Events should be displayed in the profile of the user that created the event. (e.g. User1234 create 4 events. Those 4 events should be displayed in User1234’s profile/events)

    Thanks for the info, mostly everything is achievable.

    Will there be registered users who are not barbers and are not shop owners? If not then you can just use the UsersWP system for barbers, but if so you might want to add a new CPT in GD.

    No the main Roles are:
    Admin
    Barber
    Barber Shop

    But I will have a look on CPT in GD thanks for your help @stiofansisland
