Change Elevation background color?

Hi Joe, great plugin!
Is it possible to customize the elevation background color? I see in your examples that you’re getting it white, but I am getting it gray, and it is not very good… I also did not find any relation with the colors selected in my theme, therefore I don’t know where that gray comes from…
