[FEATURE REQUEST] Add author biography using Gutemberg editor

    Hi!

    I’m using the plugin successfully, no big issues so far. But as I keep adding new authors to my blog, I’ve found it useful to add biographies for them. I’ve played with some plugins to add extra fields to a taxonomy, but none let me add a Gutemberg editor to them. So I’m thinking, maybe it’s interesting to add a “Biography” (or “Main post”) field to the taxonomy, so that when I’m visiting the taxonomy I can show the post contents? This could work for any taxonomy created by this plugin.

    But I don’t know if you can show the related post contents via the plugin, or if it’s something that needs to be done at the theme level…

    Sorry about the delayed response.

    In regards to this request:

    Would the default WordPress “Description” field on the “Author” taxonomy (and other custom taxonomies) work for this purpose?

    But I don’t know if you can show the related post contents via the plugin, or if it’s something that needs to be done at the theme level

    Displaying the details of this field is usually handle by the theme via a custom template for the taxonomy archive page.
