    Hello Aparnawd,

    Thanks for reaching out about your cached folder. When you mention that the contents of that folder are being updated frequently, how do you mean? Can you please explain further?

    Thanks!

    Hi Maybellyne,

    I have been monitoring the cache folder frequently. The contents of wp-content/cache/autoptimize is getting deleted frequently and getting recreated.
    Same happens for page cache folder also.

    When I deactivate YOAST SEO issue is not there.

    @aparnawd

    We are afraid to say that we are unfamiliar with the cache folder being created by autoptimize plugin neither we could replicate this on our end. Therefore, could you please reach out once to Autoptimize cache plugin support to gather more information about creating/deleting mechanism so that we can investigate further?

    Hi,

    We aren’t familiar of any Yoast SEO function that would purge the cache of the W3 Total Cache plugin. We do have some documentation here in order to exclude the sitemap cache from W3 Total Cache, but we aren’t sure there’s anything related to what you’re mentioning.

    Could you provide more details and some screenshots (uploaded on snipboard.io or a similar site) so you can share a link here on exactly what the issue being caused by the Yoast SEO plugin is that is interfering with your caching plugins?

    Hi,

    When I check the source code of Yoast SEO, we see that w3tc_pgcache_flush is invoked in the function clear_cache.

    Which all conditions trigger this function?

    Hi @aparnawd

    Upon checking the class-wpseo-utils.php file here, it looks like it does reference the function of w3tc_pgcache_flush however, this is already outside our scope of support with code customization.

    You can check out our available developer documentation here for any customization within the plugin – https://developer.yoast.com/

    If this is a bug, you may want to consider creating a bug report by following the steps here – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/
