Stripe credit card fields cannot be filled in

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. I am seeing this exact error as well. This does not happen if I roll back to Stripe 5.8.1, only 5.9. Can you see what changed to cause this issue? It’s a very major issue that occurs for new visitors who do not have any saved payment method and are guests.

We had the exact same issue after 5.9 update. We’ve switched our client to WooCommerce payments, which uses Stripe, and that is working fine.

@slash1andy I’ve switched my theme to Storefront, disabled everything except Woocommerce and Stripe and still see the same issue. This is clearly an issue with the latest version 5.9 since it does not occur with 5.8.1.

I’m having the exact same issue. No one can fill out the credit cards fields or do anything on the checkout page right now. Started happening after last update.
