Audio widget not properly displayed

  • Since last July when I updated to WordPress version 5.7.2 and still now with version 5.8.2, the audio widgets on my site are not properly displayed (without the play triangle and speaker, both replaced by squares), which might be better seen from the “Link to the page you need help with” above.

    I have looked everywhere for a solution to that nagging problem but after 5 months still haven’t found one.

    Not sure whether it matters but I also use Elementor v3.4.8 and the Twenty Seventeen theme.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
