Out of stock status not being displayed, showing 0 availabilty instead

@dtejeda99 I have tried with reducing stock from 3 to 0 for both simple and variable products. It is showing

out stock

status after updating stock from positive number to 0.

That’s correct. In stock for location dropdown on variable products, the out of stock and availability works fine. But the general status for variable products is displaying “0 disponibles” for out of stock products. Please check the screenshot bellow to validate this issue. Alex was working on this issue previuosly since it seems that the issue is related to comunication between stock for location and woocommerce plugin.

I can see that this issue was fixed on version 1.6.8 but i have tried several times and always get the same issue: out of stock status not being displayed, showing 0 availabilty instead. Need to update product with -1 qty to get out of stock status.

Can you please record a video to explain the steps so we can reproduce the issue? Actually sometimes we get different results than the scenario a real user created. We will try to fix it on a priority basis.

I am facing the same issue, even after the fix in 1.6.8.

When i update a stock level at a location from a positive to a 0 – i get 0 available and still showing as in stock.

See link below as an example – I have just updated the variables “8” (in the 4 colours “dark green”, “red”, “yellow”, “light grey”) of this product from 2 to 0 and you can see here all 4 are showing in stock with 0 available.

Dear Russell,

I am confirming you that this 0 in stock is coming from the WooCommerce actually. You may try by deactivating our plugin. This is something not being triggered from the stock locations plugin. WooCommerce considers the negative value as out of stock or backorder.

Hi Fahad,

I’m sorry but after further testing it does appear to be the Stock Locations for WooCommerce plug-in. Works fine with the plug-in deactivated and i am getting the 0 in stock error when it is active.

Any suggestions?
