Hello; the address of my blog was https://www.designatharrys.com/blog, and while attempting to update to 2.9.2 I have somehow managed to delete the entire thing. I know the obvious thing is, did I ever back it up, which of course I stupidly never did.
I really hope it can’t be that easy to delete years of writing, and that there is some way to retrieve any of it. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Harry

  • If you copied over wp-content, then your theme and images are gone, but unless you specifically deleted the database at yoiur webhost, your post and page content is still there. Find your webhost database info and enter that into wp-config.php again.

If you’re concerned about losing your theme changes and images in /wp-content/ or you actually did delete your database, your hosting provider may have a recent backup that they can restore your entire account from.
