Image processing never completes

    I suspect the issue is with conflicting plugin messing with REST API or something similar, as the Image Compression and use of webp images never progress from first image and the spinning icon stays there forever, until cancelled.

    debug log is enabled, but nothing appears there – is there a way to enable debug data, or insert additional error_log to see what’s the issue?

    Goes without saying, there should be something appearing in the debug log, when the plugin isn’t working right. So, please consider that for the next release.

    Check out your browser console for errors. You will then see which plugin breaks the rest api causing our interfaces to stall. Our image optimization works flawlessly and unless something else interferes and throws errors in the api it will optimize huge number of files without problem due to the failovers we’ve placed.
