[Plugin: Postie] Same E-mail Post, Multiple Times

  • I can post via e-mail with Postie, but the same post shows up on the blog a little while later. If I post a subsequent message, the previous message re-posts on the blog.

    Is this because in the Postie options, with Delete email after posting, my choice is set to No? I followed the direction, “Only set to yes for testing purposes,” but it would seem like that may be what I need to do to keep these posts from re-posting. What do you think?

  • I am having the same problem. I tried changing Delete email after posting, to “Yes” but now my posts aren’t showing up at all. Have you figured this out?

    I have already 34 copies of my last post, it’s a good thing I don’t have a busy blog!

    Please take a look about this, or I’ll have to give up Postie, since it doesn’t work for what it’s intended for me.
