Hello Marc! First and foremost, thank you for the awesome plugin! Keep up the excellent work!

I want to customize my Table of Contents with custom CSS. I need your help with this.

I want my TOC to be similar to the TOC of ahrefs: https://ahrefs.com/blog/seo-report-template/

My question is: How do I highlight which section I am on the web page while scrolling and show it on the TOC? Please see the website inspiration I mentioned above.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi, this can only be accomplished with JavaScript and CSS. Since SimpleTOC is simple by design you have to add this yourself.

Hello @marcdk! Thank you for the quick response.

Do you know what JavaScript and CSS I should add? I am familiar with the adding process; I don’t know that code to add.

Would you please assist me with that?

Many thanks for considering my request.

Sorry, SimpleTOC only renders an HTML list. Nothing more. You can ask an agency or a frontend developer to do this for you.
