Custom stat select

    Hi there,

    First of all thank you for this, it’s something SportsPress should have added a long time ago. This is a new extension so I suspect you will be working towards this end anyway… but ideally the stats list could be customizable.

    The problem I have with minutes, for example, is that in my sport there are temporary substitutions and SportsPress doesn’t handle them very well so I use a custom stat for minutes played.

    It would also be useful to list the games in a tab, like the events list. If you see this player on my website for example:

    I have the events tab on the page but the information it displays is not what I want. Game time, for example, is completely useless in this context. I would like to list the player number and minutes played for each match in the events list, like this page:

    I’m sure other people would like to select different statistics to display. Anyway I realise this may take a long time to accomplish but thank you again for starting what is a very interesting project.

    Hi there @bray79 ,

    So if I got it right, there is a need to select a custom performance/stat to show in the player’s event list? A selectable list is a possible solution.

    Yes exactly, and the ability to add multiple custom fields would be the ideal solution. Thank you!

    Amazing. Thank you Savvas! It works perfectly. The only detail missing I would be interested in adding is the player number. If you look at the match report here:

    Each player has a number… and the numbers change every game. On the input sheet it’s simply listed as ‘#‘. Not sure if that’s possible and if not, no worries!

    Awesome! I even did a little edit myself so it displays ‘##’ instead of ‘Squad Number’. Thank you again, this is enormously helpful.
