Customizations not showing up on pages

    I loaded the plugin – went to Appearance/Customize and have added a background image and made some menu changes. But when I preview pages – non of what I did shows up. It doesn’t show on the page as I edit it either. I am not that familiar with WP – so probably something simple.

    I noticed that while I was in the customization menu – everything shows up as though I am editing a page (it was listed as “untitled” – am I actually editing a page in that menu – or is it for all of the pages on the site? I thought it was supposed to be site wide. If not – then where is the page I was editing?

    Hello,

    At the top of the “Customizer” panel on the left it should have a blue “Publish” button with a little cog to the right of it. If instead this says “Save Draft” or “Schedule” then you are not editing customizations for the live site but instead a draft. You need to click the little cog and select “Publish” then click the “Publish” button and you will see your changes on the live site.

    Where exactly does it say “Untitled”. Please tell me as much about that page as you can so I can understand what page you are on.

    Thanks Oliver – I get it now!

    The “untitled” is just to left of the publish button – like it’s the name of a page or something. Maybe I am making a custom template – and there is a way to name it? It doesn’t let me change the name.

    OK – so on to my next delimma. Here is the site I am trying to emulate:

    Note the blue buttons with centered text links. I have created a button and can put that on my site – but I can’t move it where I want it – and I can’t seem to get the text to center in the image. I thought blocks could overlap etc – but this isn’t working.

    Here’s the site I am working on – although I am still trying to get it to show up live after setting the homepage:

    How can I use my button image with text link ion the center and moved where I need it?

    Hello,

    It says “Untitled” because you’ve not given your website a title. You can do this by going to “Customizer – Site Identity – Site Title”.

    We get “403 Forbidden” when trying to view https://www.co.siskiyou.ca.us

    We also cannot see your other site as it is hidden with a “Coming soon” page.

    You should start a new thread if you have a new support query, though.

    Please also make sure that the support query is related to our Options for Twenty Twenty-One plugin. If you have a general query about using the theme, you can post a question in the theme support forum.
