Is this continually happening, or did it just redirect one time? It is supposed to just show the ditty_info page once after installation.

This was happening to me as well. My plugin wasn’t even active and it was redirecting to the announcement of the update on the backend. I tried going to pages in the backend and it would still redirect to the announcement. I also tried going to an incognito window and it was trying to redirect, but couldn’t. I chatted with WP support and we came to the conclusion that it was best to delete the plugin, since I wasn’t actively using it, and it resolved my issue. Not saying that fixed the issue for others; just for me and only after I got rid of it altogether.

This was the page it was redirecting to: https://tourstoyou.org/wp-admin/?page=ditty_info
Since this issue was resolved, it doesn’t automatically show up, so this link is for reference.

@tourstoyou Thanks for letting me know. I have removed the redirection now. For some reason the WordPress update_option() function isn’t saving the version number causing the same script to run multiple times. Unfortunately, when this issue is happening it doesn’t allow the dashboard to get to any page besides the ditty_info page.

I am not sure how it could have been triggered without the plugin being active, though. That’s a confusing issue for me. I’ll do some more testing locally.

I have removed the info page and redirect altogether until I run some more tests. Please update to the latest version when you get a chance as there are a few more code updates I released.

I have updated to the latest version and I no longer see the redirect problem.

    Thanks,
    Jon
