(adding new tags to the post: “query loop” and “query pagination numbers”)

edit: Well, that didn’t work. Seems you can’t add new topic tags after the first post.

This definitely appears to be a WordPress bug. I’ve added more posts and there are now 5 pages. The behavior is that the link attached to page 1 of the query loop pagination always points to the current page you’re on, not page 1. If you’re on page 5, page 1 links to page 5, if you’re on page 3, page 1 links to page 3, and so on.

I hope the right person sees this and this gets resolved in an update. I’m surprised no one else seems to have noticed it.

@karljansen I can confirm this. There must not be a lot of people leveraging this type of pagination yet? It’s happening on any theme (I implemented in a custom one).

Update: This bug seems to have been fixed sometime in the past month or so. I checked it a few weeks ago and it seemed to be resolved, I just didn’t get a chance to post about it until now.

But for me, it’s still there…
