Linked YouTube video doesn’t work

    Hi there,

    Playing around with this plugin primarily with YouTube video links that are in this format:

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxxxxxxxx

    Such links will load in the lightbox, but the video will not play and result in:

    An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: blah blah blah)

    I guess this linking type is not supported?

    Hi there,

    As far as I know, I downloaded and installed the latest version.

    You can check it on this page:

    Scroll down to No. 13 for example, and click the video icon. The lightbox will open and it will seem like it’s ready to play the video, but when you hit play, it gives an error.

    If the YouTube link is in this format is used, it works:

    https://youtu.be/XXXXXXXXX

    No. 5 was modified with this YouTube link format, and if you click it, the video loads with no issues.

    We checked the page and you are right. We will check it.

    About the close button, we didn’t find the issue. Can you tell exactly when the close button doesn’t work(the video name or a screenshot)?

    Dear user.

    We fixed the bug and updated our plugin, now it should work correctly. Update our plugin to the latest version, then clear your website and browser caches, and check it again.

    Thanks for fixing the play bug. It works now with the “embed” links.

    I still couldn’t figure out why I am unable to close the lightbox by clicking the X in the top corner. Once the lightbox content has initialized, the X becomes unresponsive.

    I am using Firefox (latest version) on Windows 10 (latest update).

    Hi.

    We tested your website on Firefox as well, everything works fine from our side.

    Maybe you are using an old version of the firefox browser, update your browser to the latest version and check it again.

    Hi there,

    On Windows 10 using Edge, it works. The x button is responsive and will close the lightbox.

    On a Mac OS (Big Sur 11.6.1) using Safari, it works.

    On a Mac OS using Firefox, the x button is unresponsive just like it is on Windows 10.
