    Hello!

I have enabled PNG to JPG conversion, and I’m testing it on individual files. It appears to work and I can see the JPEGs are created as expected; the JPEG is also loaded as expected when viewed in the Media Library.

However, when I view posts which have the embedded PNG, I see those URLs are not updated and still point to the original PNG. Is this expected behavior? Do I need to manually update (delete and re-add) PNG->JPG optimized images in existing posts in order for the JPEG versions to be served?

    Hi @deltahf,
Normally you should not have to update image URLs if those URLs are stored in the wp_posts table. However, if the URLs are stored elsewhere in the database by a plugin or page builder, then you will indeed have to manually update them.
