Disable Lightbox on mobile View?

  • Hi there,

    i’m using the Lightbox-Feature on some images witch is quite nice on large Desktops or some Tablets, but on smaller Devices like mobile phones it is useless. if i tap there on the images the caption will be overlayed. Is there an (easy) way to disable the Lightbox functionality on mobile devices?

    I’m using latest WordPress Version with Gutenberg Editor and WordPress Image- or Image-Media-Blocks. Thanks

    No i’m not using this plugin. The only plugin i use is CoBlocks. But here i’m talking from the built-in worpdress blocks and functionality.

    Okay, since mobile compatibility is theme-dependent, I recommend asking at your theme’s support so its developers and support community can help you with this.

    I don’t think so. I tried it with five other themes including the official ones which are delivered with wordpress. Same behaviour.
