I’m glad you like Smart Slider!

One little thing I find a bit confusing is columns “element” it disappears when there is only one layer

That’s weird, the column shouldn’t disappear regardless of how many layers are placed into it. The only time the column should disappear is if it’s manually hidden by the user.
Could you open a support ticket and send us your slider where the problem happens to investigate this problem?

Also, I didn’t find an option to set width of a column in percentage

You could do this if you’d use two columns in your row, and leave one of the columns empty. By default the 2 columns are 50%-50% wide inside the row, but if you’d want your content column to be e.g. 70% you could adjust the column width:

Then you can add your content to the wider column and leave the other empty.

you are correct. The column doesn’t disappear at all. It’s just that I cannot enter the settings of it because the layer fills in all of the column so whenever I hover over the column, I am actually hovering over the layer. See the two screenshots here:

I am building a seamless slider without any paddings to fill full width of the screen (test page here: https://jagaia.cz/test-slider/) and I want the image on the left to cover all height of the slider. As you can see in the screenshots, on the right I can easily change the settings of the column just by hovering over the empty area where there is no layer. But on the left, where the image layer covers the whole column, I cannot achieve such a thing. The only option to geth there is to set margin of the image layer and then I can hover over the corner to get to column settings as visible here:

Actually, the same probelms apply for the rows. I cannot enter the settings of the row (thus I couldn’t find the option to adjust width of columns) by hovering over the row because the row doesn’t have any area not covered by columns that I could hover over.

You can reach any layer from the Layer List:

or you can click on the layer inside the column and jump to its parent by choosing it from the Layer menu > Parent:

If you select the layer inside the column, using the Layer Menu > Parent you can go to the Column or Row directly from there.

Also, if you want the image to fully cover the column, then I’d rather suggest using the image as the background of the column:

In this case there won’t be any empty spaces around the image. (This can happen for example, in cases when the content in the other column needs more vertical space.)

Also thank you for the image suggestion but I actually want the image to be the element that sets the height of the whole slider (I have some custom CSS involved).
