Connect Paypal – Agree and Convert Account

    We are connecting our paypal account to GiveWp but on the last screen Paypal is asking us to agree and convert account – what does this mean? We are already setup as a business account type on Paypal

    Hi @digiroutes,

    Happy to clarify.

    The Paypal Donations option uses some new features that the regular PayPal Standard option did not. In order to use these advanced features, the merchants need to accept the terms for the APMs, which most likely never showed up on the standard plugin.

    It will always ask you to convert your account to a business account if it isn’t one yet. This needs to happen once with every account, be it a newly created (or first-time PayPal Donations connection) regular merchant account or a newly created Sandbox account.
