Index page is not updating. Caching is not working. I am getting this error when I test the cache. I have also tested it incognito.

Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

Error on dynamic page (https://shepherdsbone.com): Cache status: BYPASS - Cloudflare has been instructed to not cache this asset. It has been served directly from the origin.

Error on static resource (https://shepherdsbone.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Cache status: BYPASS - Cloudflare has been instructed to not cache this asset. It has been served directly from the origin.

Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode 'cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.

https://shepherdsbone.com/?nocache is showing the correct version.

I would love some help. My host recently disabled wp-cron and enabled cron job. They said caching was plugin issue.

    Thanks!

It was Ezoic telling it to bypass Cloudflare Caching.

Glad to know you have found what was causing the issue.

    Hello @isaumya

I think it has become common issue. I week back Cloudflare started giving me some issue so I asked help from community https://community.cloudflare.com/t/connection-getting-lost-website-loading-slow/346529 but no solution has been found till date.

Now, when I checked the test cache I find the dynamic and static page are different.

This is the page rule https://i.ibb.co/TTt16V9/page-rule.png and this the log https://pastebin.com/2pPkyg7m.

Can you please tell the solution.

    Hi @abhishekh328,
As I can see from your screenshots it seems you already have 3 page rules added and hoping you are using CF Free plan, which only allows 3 page rules to be added, none of those page rules are added by this plugin.

So, I will suggest you to delete all the page rules you have set up in your CF account as none of them are needed when you are using this plugin. Then resetup the plugin from scratch. This time as there will be no existing page rules the plugin will be able to create it’s own page rule that it needs and things supposed to work after that. If not, let me know along with your site URL to take another further look inside your site.

Also do note that do not tinker with the page rule added by the plugin. Do not touch it and keep it as it is. Beside the 1 page rule added by the plugin you do not generally need any other page rules related to caching – as all caching behaviour is handelled by the plugin.

It worked but after lots of troubleshooting. First plugins just doesnt want to get deactivated and when I deleted from plugins folder. The website went in loop. Not loading.

After renaming plugins folder site came back. Again installed, activate and then deactivate. Installed again then I just did one change which is “Strip response cookies on pages that should be cached” changed the mode to “on” because again caching was not working. But at last it worked. Thanks a lot for guidance.
