401 errors

    Firstly this plugin is awesome! I’ve got it working. But I’ve noticed that if I use the login page a few times it returns a 401 error. I don’t believe this appeared before the plugin was installed. I use iThemes Security Pro and host on ventraip. I’m not able to find any ip blocking associated with this error – assuming it’s being oversensitive with this plugin to brute force attack. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    A 401 error on the login screen is an Invalid Credential error.

    As the login normally works correctly and this error happens on subsequent visits, the issue is not likely due to the plugin settings (would see an error every time on login) but most likely due to a session mismatch or stale browser cookies on the subsequent visit. The best way to handle this would be to ensure that you are logging out of the site properly and flushing the browser cache to initiate a new session upon login.
